Yemeni Sidr Honey

Yemeni Sidr Honey is one of the finest and rarest honey’s in the world. Its distinctive taste, health promoting nutritious values, benefits and limited harvesting has made it amongst the most sought out honey in the world.

Our Yemini Sidr honey originates from the Wadi Dho’an, a valley in the desert mountains of Hadramaout, East of Yemen. For centuries the mountains harvest raw, organic, natural and pure honey from bees who feed purely on nectar from flowers of the Sidr/Lote tree. Harvested twice a year during summer and winter in wild and unrefined conditions.

Our beekeepers are craftsmen of the trade, having embodied the art from generation to generation. The beekeepers adhere to the traditional method of beekeeping. No chemical, drugs or machinery are used in the process. Traditional methods perfected over generations ensure the honey remains pure, raw and unheated poured into containers, thus preserving its vital live enzymatic constituents.

The bees are not fed on sugar, no additives or artificial sweetening agents and taste enhancers are added or used. This ensures that the honey is unadulterated, 100% pure, potent brining the maximum nutritious benefit and taste.

Black Seed Honey

Nigella sativa (N. sativa) is a small flowering plant that grows in Southwest Asia, the Middle East, and Southern Europe. This shrub also produces fruit with tiny black seeds. Commonly referred to as simply black seed, N. sativa seeds go by many other names, including black cumin, black caraway, nigella, fennel flower, and Roman coriander. Black seed oil is extracted from N. sativa seeds and has been used in traditional medicine for over 2,000 years due to its many therapeutic benefits.

Our Black Seed honey is 100% raw, pure and organic and not infused with oil or any other product. Our Bee keeper’s locate their hives near the black seed farms where the bees only feed of the black seed flower’s nectar. Our honey is free from any chemical, additives or preservatives. No oils, seeds or mixture is added to it, making it exceptionally rare and hard to source.

Both Sidr and Black Seed have long been considered a natural medicine with healing properties.
